Get ready for some big reveals when ABC's Once Upon a Time returns on March 9. Executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz preview what's brewing in Fairy Tale Land, Storybrooke and Oz.
- The Wicked Witch of the West (Lost's Rebecca Mader) lands in Storybrooke on the March 9 episode. She shares ties to two familiar characters. Viewers will learn what turned her green and will eventually meet the Wizard. "There might be some other surprises along the yellow brick road," Kitsis says. "We're setting up the fight of all fights: Evil Queen versus Wicked Witch!"
- The March 9 episode will also incorporate the fact that real-life couple Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas (Snow and Charming) are expecting a child. The baby will have a connection to the impending progeny of Sleeping Beauty (Sarah Bolger) and Prince Phillip (Julian Morris), though producers promise there won't be a soap opera-like baby switch.
- Emma (Jennifer Morrison) will encounter a mysterious stranger in New York City (Covert Affairs' Christopher Gorham); Charming will come to the rescue of Rapunzel (Alexandra Metz) atop a tower; and Belle (Emilie de Ravin) will meet her French candlestick pal, Lumiere (True Blood's Henri Lubatti).
- Now that Meghan Ory has wrapped the first season of CBS's Intelligence, she may be back as Little Red this spring.
- Expect a splashy season-finale wedding. Will the bride and groom be Belle and Rumple? Emma and Hook? Regina and Robin Hood?
- Cruella de Vil and the princesses from the box-office hit Frozen top the producers' character wish list for Season 4.
THOUGHTS????
I am so totally here for Red's return!!! So totally not here for that flop-looking Wicked Witch of the West wtffffffff. I didn't know they cast Rapunzel or Lumiere! (So does the fact that Charming rescues Rapunzel mean she doesn't get a prince of her own?) That baby storyline sounds weird...their babies are going to be True Loves, aren't they??? Not another mysterious stranger! (Though I do like Christopher Gorham, generally, though I did want his character to DIE about halfway thru Ugly Betty.) IF HOOK & EMMA GET MARRIED, I SWEAR TO GOD.........I'm fine with Cruella & the girls from Frozen being on the show, but I want Tiana & Jasmine & Merida. Though I guess Jasmine would fit better on Once Upon a Time in Wonderland especially if Cyrus is Aladdin...but then what happened to here?!?!?!...
I mean, on the plus side, I couldn't possibly hate the 2nd arc more than I hated the Neverland arc.
...right???
...RIGHT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

This cracked me up.

And does that Belle/Rumple line up there mean he's not really dead? Please let that be true. That's really all I care about. Him and Red.
I'll be more than happy to see Red back. She's definitely one of the few female characters that I like and that I don't wish would get turned into a toad already. Can they get Dr Whale back too? I've decided that I kinda love him now.
I would rage at Hook and Emma getting married. First off Hook works so much better as a dastardly cad and I prefer not to dwell on his flop taste in women. Surely the life of a single rougueish pirate is better than being constantly being scowled at by fishwife Emma. I think it's more likely to be Belle and Rumpel which I wouldn't mind as I like them (especially Rumpel).
Ugh at the baby story. I hate bloody baby/pregnancy storylines. Although I do love Philip and Aurora about 1000000x more than Snow and Charming.
I'm intrigued to see Rapunzel as I'm a huge Tangled geek. And I wouldn't mind Cruella or the Frozen girls either - I've actually been wanting a Snow Queen episode for ages.
I'm worried just how they'll handle the Wicked Witch. I must admit that my expectations aren't very high righ now. She's such an iconic character and I doubt that they'll do her justice - I'm expecting some Red Queen lameness tbh.
I absolutely hate when they work a real-life pregnancy into the show and make up some weird baby storyline. Stargate Atlantis forever ruined that concept for me and it always ends up all soap opera.
I'm SO glad they're bringing Oz characters into the show but terrified they'll mess it up so badly.
Lumiere is a character I'm really looking forward to. I don't know the actor at all but he looks okay as long as he can pull off a convincing French accent.
I don't like Ruby/Red at all. That's all I'm going to say since I know everyone loves her and is going to be happy she's back.
I'm hoping for Rumple/Belle wedding (HE ISN'T DEAD I KNOW HE ISN'T) but odds are it won't be. *sighs*
Just don't let them EVER do anything with Neverland again and I'll be happy. oh, and killing off Emma wouldn't hurt. *cringes*
I have massive reservations about this Wicked Witch plot.
I'll admit they have me hooked (whoops, pun) with the cliffhanger they left us with. I really want to see how Emma and Henry regain their memories and return to Storybrooke.
...do you think I will hate this, whatever it is?
I honestly don't know :\ I'm not sure how you feel about the characters mentioned! :(
