The end of that movie was very eerie. Talk about a hollow feeling. It was the same with Man on Fire.

The Virgin Suicides did have a great soundtrack, though.

I was up around 7:30, too. Which was 6:30 where you are! Ah!

This is one of those movies that's really good, but I don't think I'll be watching it again. I've never seen Man on Fire...

I do enjoy the soundtrack, too.

Didn't help that I was up from like 2:00am to 3:30am due to storms. UGH. I better get to sleep in Monday & Wednesday!

I only saw Man on Fire because it got the majority vote amongst my camp staff friends (mostly guys) on our night off. Its not a movie I would have otherwise seen and its not one I plan on seeing again. The end was a let down, for me at least, because what I really didn't want to happen, happened.

That last ten minutes of that movie do pretty much the same thing to me, too.

I wasn't familiar with the book/movie before I watched it & I thought it was gonna end up okay, other than the first sister, and then BOOM. D:

Yeah, this movie definitely has a sad and creepy feel to it. I think it was so well made though. Have you read the book? It's really good.

I read the book after seeing the movie. I really liked both the book & the movie--brilliantly done on both counts--but I don't think I'll be reading/watching again, y'know? (And I'm really glad they changed the movie because I thought Mary's situation in the book was much more heartbreaking.)

I re-read the scene where they find out they offed themselves an uncountable amount of times because i was in ~disbelief~. And then i was just terribly sad because it was one of those books that i ~felt~ everything with. D: D: D:
